Mr. Petrit Balija is Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of the Kosovo Banking Association. He holds an MBA, an Executive Master’s in International Association Management, and a Doctorate in Finance. Prior to joining KBA, he gained experience at major financial institutions, including Bank of America and Wachovia Bank. He has also served as a professor locally and internationally, teaching capital markets, organizational management, and leadership. As CEO, his work focuses on financial inclusion, digital transformation, and advancing sustainable banking and finance, contributing to the development and modernization of Kosovo’s financial sector and broader economic growth.
