Nesrin Shileku Shala
Nesrin Shileku Shala serves as Deputy Governor for General Functions and a member of the Executive Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, a position she has held since February 2024. From 2003 to 2018, she held various positions at the Central Bank, where she played a key role in the development of regulatory and legal frameworks, ensuring alignment with international standards such as Basel and IFRS. During this period, she closely collaborated with international institutions including the IMF, ECB, and the World Bank.
With over 15 years of experience at the Central Bank and a successful tenure in the banking sector, Ms. Shileku Shala is recognized as a strategic leader with deep expertise in financial sector regulation, governance, and institutional development.
