Dr. Jose M. Moreno de Barreda is a financial sector strategist with over 30 years of international experience advising banks, governments, and development institutions. Since 2008, he has led digital finance and inclusion initiatives for IFC, IDB, Gates Foundation, and others. He has held executive roles in banking and consulting and is a Certified Non-Executive Director in the UK. Currently a board member and former chair of a medium-sized bank, he brings deep expertise in financial regulation, strategy, and innovation. Dr. de Barreda holds an MBA, LLM, and PhD in Applied Economics
