Genond Mesareja serves as the CEO of SIGMA Vienna Insurance Group in Kosovo and the Chairperson of the European Investors Council in Kosovo. With over 30 years of professional experience, acting in different industries, Mr. Mesareja was the CEO of Vizion Plus, part of WAZ Media Group (today Funke Media Group) and has served as Vice CEO of Western Union in Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia. As an engineer with a solid academic foundation in business administration, Mr. Mesareja has been instrumental in steering the company’s strategic initiatives and fostering high standards within the Kosovo insurance market. His leadership is marked by a commitment to innovation, diversity, and the implementation of best practices in the insurance industry.
