Since September 2024, Damien Sorrell has served as the Head of the European Investment Bank’s Regional Hub for the Western Balkans. A qualified lawyer in both France and England & Wales, he holds law degrees from King’s College London and Université Paris I, as well as a master’s in international relations from Geneva’s Graduate Institute. Damien joined EIB in 2010, working across MENA, Africa, and Asia as legal counsel. He later helped open the Bank’s Beirut office and advanced financial inclusion in the EU neighborhood.
